  • Have trouble getting the sheets back into the tube

Stack the sheets,  lining them up as closely as you can but remember that there is an extra inch of space lengthwise in the tube so you don’t need to be exact.  Roll up the sheets tightly with any stored presentation facing out so they will fit easily into the tube and the end curl will face toward the wall when you present again.  Insert rolled sheets into tube and tap the bottom of the tube to align the sheets.  The sheets will start to unroll when you gently tap the capped end of the tube against a table a few times.  Unroll the sheets by twisting them with your finger until they are tightly against the side of the tube.  This assures that there is enough space for the markers and wipe.

  • Dry erase markers stain the sheets

Dry erase ink is easily removed with the wipe or standard white board eraser until the ink completely dries.  Remove dry erase markings that have set with standard white board cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.

Dry erase markers work on the material much like they do on traditional white boards.  Some dry erase ink tends to ghost on the surface after it dries.  Dry erase ink seems to vary in formulations so some markers will stain the surface quickly and some will act normally.

Standard white board cleaner, isopropyl alcohol, always cleans the sheets completely after any period of time.

You can use any dry or wet erase markers that you find anywhere.  Remember permanent markers are just that, permanent.  You might like to put a drawing, background, grid, or other image that you use all of the time.  Markers vary greatly in quality and performance.  Be sure to test the markers before you use them. <back>

The sheets tend to loose their static cling after prolonged use, high humidity environments, and washing the sheets with water.  Restore the static cling by placing the sheet on any surface and rubbing lightly and quickly with the included wipe or just your hand.  Temporarlily place the sheet on a wall with the markings on the wall side to prevent smudging existing markings while recharging.

A stiff breeze will tend to blow the sheets from a wall or door.  Repeated opening and closing a door will generate enough of a breeze to blow the sheets from the door.  Move the sheets to another wall for storage.  Recharging the static will help keep the sheets on surfaces subject to breezes. <back>

Heavy prolonged use leads to wrinkles and creases in the sheets.  The edges are particularly susceptible.  Try to occasionally align the sheets very carefully, insert into the tube, and unroll the sheets tightly against the inside wall of the tube.  Vigorously restoring the static will also help. <back>

Make sure that the ink is dry.  Also be sure that your hands are dry as any moisture will dissolve the ink.

Write the title of the sheet and it’s order number at the very top of each sheet.  Place the last sheet in the set on the wall or table and stack the rest of the sheets in reverse order until the entire presentation is stacked.  Turn the stack over so the first sheet is facing the table top.  Place any remaining unmarked sheets on top of the stack.  Start rolling from the bottom.  The top edge of the first sheet in the presentation is now on the outside of the roll so you can easily see the title. <back>

You can use either side but one side a little better.  In good light, one side is shinier than the other.  This side is also face up when you place the natural end curl down.  <back>
